YOU can make a difference!
Supporting a boy this summer is an investment in the rest of his life.
For over a century, West End House Camp has provided boys from every ethnic and socioeconomic background with unforgettable summers on the pristine shores of Long Pond in Parsonsfield, Maine.
Featuring competitive sports, waterfront activities, STEM, and adventures, our program empowers boys to play, boost their self-confidence, and truly discover who they are. The result is a brotherhood that builds character and forges friendships that last a lifetime.
Your donation directly supports our mission, helping families in need receive a vital campership, providing the opportunity to experience camp for the first time. You can help make summer 2026 the most important one of a boy’s life.

See the West End impact in action…
“The summers I spent at West
End House Camp were just as
instrumental in shaping me as
the winters I spent at school.
As a camper, I made
friendships that will last the
rest of my life. As a staff
member, I learned valuable
skills that are still relevant in
the work I do today. I was
allowed the opportunity to
attend West End on a
scholarship, and hope more
kids from working class
families who may not be able
to afford to attend camp get
that same gift I was given back
in 2004.”

117 years of tradition, brotherhood, and opportunity.
West End House Camp opened for it’s first summer in 1908. James Storrow (of Storrow Drive fame in Boston) took an interest in the kids who belonged to the Boys Club in the West End section of the City. Children among the more than 60,000 immigrants from Italy, Ireland, Poland, Russia, China, India, Japan, Austria, Armenia and Greece who inhabited the 50 acres of tenements, saloons, markets, sidewalks and narrow streets of the ethnic melting pot seemed cut off from nature. Storrow purchased 130 acres of land in East Parsonsfield as a summer home for the West End’s boys. The first groups came the 125 miles from Boston via an overnight cruise in the bottom hold on a sidewheel steamer to Portland. From there a trip on the White Mountain Special Train to Cornish and then an eight-mile hayride east got them to the shores of spring-fed Long Pond. Now they come by bus and car and plane, more than 150 campers a year. They come as grandsons and great-grandsons of those first campers, or as new adventurers wanting to feel the brotherhood that has long withstood the test of time.
West End House Camp, now comprises 135-acres, including 4,000 feet on beautiful Long Pond. Each modern cabin houses 12 campers and 3 staff, including a private bathroom and shower. Activities include indoor/outdoor basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, tennis, swimming, archery, arts & crafts, nature, sailing, kayaking, waterskiing, tubing, water trampoline, waterslide, paddle-boarding, intercamp competition, evening activities, exciting five-day Color War, World Cup, and Desert War events. Gorgeous indoor gym, modern dining hall, large playing fields, GAGA pit, canteen, fitness pavilion, and small library. Although the facilities and activities are constantly being updated the tradition of brotherhood, being an ethnic melting pot and playing in nature will never change.
